Job Summary:

We are looking for a highly experienced and technically strong Technical Delivery Manager with a background in automation testing, project delivery, test management, and client management. The ideal candidate will possess deep hands-on expertise in Java/Python, various test automation frameworks, and tools such as Selenium, Appium, Rest Assured, and preferably Playwright. This leadership role involves delivering complex QA projects, driving innovation through automation and AI-based solutions, and ensuring high-quality deliverables aligned with business goals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the end-to-end delivery of multiple testing and automation projects across domains.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for client engagement and stakeholder management.
  • Define and implement test strategies, automation approaches, and best practices.
  • Manage and mentor technical QA teams across locations to drive high performance and continuous improvement.
  • Ensure the successful execution of automation test frameworks using tools such as Selenium, Appium, Rest Assured, and knowledge of Playwright.
  • Own delivery timelines, scope, quality, and resource planning.
  • Work closely with development, DevOps, and product teams to ensure alignment on technical solutions and schedules.
  • Evaluate and integrate emerging technologies, including AI-driven automation tools and cloud platforms.
  • Maintain comprehensive test documentation and provide executive-level reporting on project status, risks, and outcomes.
  • Support CI/CD pipeline integration for test automation and quality assurance.
  • Drive innovation and efficiency in testing through AI, cloud adoption, and Kafka-based systems.

Must-Have Technical Skills:

  • Strong programming skills in Java and/or Python.
  • Hands-on experience with Selenium, Appium, Rest Assured.
  • Good knowledge of Playwright for browser automation.
  • Experience building and maintaining various test automation frameworks (UI, API, Mobile).
  • Proven experience in test management, planning, execution, and reporting.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.

Nice-to-Have Skills:

  • Knowledge of CI/CD processes and tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab, Azure DevOps).
  • Exposure to AI-based automation tools or experience in integrating AI into automation frameworks.
  • Understanding of cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure.
  • Familiarity with Kafka for messaging/event-based architecture.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelors/Masters degree in Computer Science, IT, or related discipline.
  • Minimum 15 years of experience in QA, test automation, and technical delivery.
  • 5+ years of experience managing delivery across large, complex projects.
  • Certifications such as PMP, CSM, ISTQB, or equivalent are desirable.
