JOB DESCRIPTION OF SALES MANAGER
A Sales Manager in the FMCG industry is responsible for developing and executing sales strategies, leading and motivating a sales team, and achieving sales targets within a specific region or market. Key duties include analyzing market trends, building and maintaining relationships with clients and distributors, managing the sales pipeline, and ensuring product distribution efficiency.
Key responsibilities
- Strategic planning: Develop and implement sales strategies to meet or exceed regional or national sales objectives.
- Team management: Recruit, train, coach, and motivate a team of sales representatives to achieve their targets.
- Client and distributor relations: Build and maintain strong relationships with key accounts, clients, and distributors to drive sales and ensure product availability.
- Market analysis: Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and sales performance to identify new opportunities and inform strategy.
- Sales performance: Track sales metrics, prepare and present reports, and provide sales forecasts to senior management.
- Promotional activities: Collaborate with marketing teams to plan and execute promotional activities and campaigns.
- Supply chain coordination: Work with internal teams to ensure product availability and timely delivery, avoiding stockouts.
Required skills and qualifications
- Proven track record of meeting sales targets.
- Strong leadership, communication, and negotiation skills.
- Analytical skills to interpret data and market trends.
- Experience in the FMCG sector.
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field
Salary :- Rs.18,000/- to Rs.28,000/- per month
