Role Overview

Position: Business Development Manager (Field-Based, Pan India)

Location: Pan-India (Extensive field travel across colleges and universities)

Reporting To: Team Manager

Qualifications

Category Details

Education Graduation (any discipline) or 12th Pass

Experience 3+ years in sales—preferably with experience in EdTech, colleges, or universities

Languages Fluency in local state language(s) and English is essential

Compensation ₹3.5 LPA to ₹6.0 LPA, depending on experience and location

Key Responsibilities

  1. Market Outreach & Growth

Travel to colleges and universities across India to advocate for Ideal Bridge.

Identify and onboard brand ambassadors to extend reach within campuses.

  1. Sales Excellence & Relationship Management

Manage objections effectively to secure partnerships and collaborations.

Build and maintain long-term relationships with educational institutions.

Represent the company at industry events, seminars, and student gatherings.

  1. Target Setting & Achievement

Meet or exceed predefined KPI/KRA targets (e.g., sign-ups, onboardings, lead generation).

Present compelling pitches and presentations to students and institutional stakeholders.

  1. Brand Building & Strategic Influence

Grow brand visibility in colleges through high-impact engagement and collaborations.

Liaise closely with internal teams (marketing, operations, onboarding) to deliver seamless execution.

Skills & Attributes

Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.

Proven track record in sales or business development, particularly in EdTech or educational sectors.

Strong objection-handling and negotiation skills.

Ability to build enduring relationships with diverse stakeholders.

Results-driven mindset and proactive approach in a startup environment.

Comfortable with frequent travel and adapting to different academic environments.
