Front Office Manager

The Front Office Manager is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the front office department, including reception, guest services, reservations, and concierge. The role ensures smooth check-in/check-out processes, handles guest concerns, manages staff, and maintains the highest level of guest satisfaction and service standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and manage all front office operations, including reception, reservations, concierge, and guest services.
- Ensure smooth and efficient check-in/check-out processes.
- Maintain high levels of guest satisfaction by promptly addressing and resolving complaints or requests.
- Train, mentor, and schedule front office staff to ensure quality service delivery.
- Monitor room availability, rates, and reservations in coordination with the sales and revenue team.
- Ensure compliance with hotel policies, procedures, and service standards.
- Prepare and review front office reports (occupancy, arrivals, departures, VIP guests, revenue, etc.).
- Manage guest feedback and implement corrective actions for service improvement.
- Coordinate with housekeeping, F&B, and other departments for seamless guest experience.
- Handle VIP guests, special requests, and group bookings with attention to detail.
- Ensure proper cash handling, billing, and audit procedures.
- Conduct regular departmental meetings and briefings with staff.
- Monitor and control front office expenses and contribute to achieving departmental budgets.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree or diploma in Hotel Management or related field.
- Minimum 5–7 years of front office experience, with at least 2–3 years in a supervisory/assistant manager role.
- Strong knowledge of front office operations, reservations systems, and PMS software (Opera/IDS/Cloud PMS preferred).
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- Ability to handle pressure and guest complaints professionally.
- Knowledge of multiple languages (preferred but not mandatory).
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: ₹45, ₹50,000.00 per month
