Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Commis Chef based in the Greater Kolkata Area. The Commis Chef will assist in food preparation and cooking under the guidance of senior chefs, ensuring that all dishes meet the highest culinary and hygiene standards. Daily responsibilities include preparing ingredients, maintaining a clean and safe kitchen environment, and adhering to food safety protocols. The role also requires effective communication within the kitchen team to ensure smooth operations.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in Food Preparation, Cooking, and Culinary Skills
- Strong understanding and practice of Hygiene and food safety standards
- Effective Communication skills for collaboration within the kitchen team
- Ability to work in a fast-paced kitchen environment with strong teamwork
- Formal training in culinary arts or a relevant certification is an advantage
- Prior experience in catering, hospitality, or airline hospitality is beneficial
