Job Description – Cashier / Customer Service Associate

Position: Cashier / Customer Service Associate

Department: Store Operations

Location: Raj Nagar Extension

Reporting To: Store Manager

Job Objective

To manage billing and transactions efficiently while delivering high-quality customer service, ensuring a smooth shopping experience for all customers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Operate billing counters and POS systems (cash, card, UPI, vouchers).
  • Handle customer queries and complaints politely and effectively.
  • Issue receipts, refunds, credits, and manage daily cash reconciliation.
  • Assist customers in locating products and share ongoing offers.
  • Maintain billing counter cleanliness and ensure proper queue management.
  • Support sales floor activities during peak hours if required.
  • Follow company security and cash-handling procedures.
  • Maintain accurate records of all transactions.

Requirements

  • Qualification: 12th Pass / Graduate.
  • Experience: 0–3 years (retail/customer service/cashier role preferred).
  • Skills: Good communication, numerical accuracy, POS knowledge, customer handling.
  • Attributes: Honest, polite, detail-oriented, and customer-focused.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹11, ₹15,000.00 per month
