We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven
Business Development Manager
to join our Freight Forwarding team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for generating new business, maintaining existing client relationships, and driving revenue growth through innovative logistics solutions. The role requires a deep understanding of freight forwarding services (Air, Ocean, Import, Export, Customs Clearance, DDP, DAP, CIF, FOB, etc.) and the ability to build long-term partnerships with clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify and develop new business opportunities in
    Air & Ocean Freight Forwarding, Customs Brokerage, and Warehousing & Distribution
    .
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships through regular meetings, presentations, and follow-ups.
  • Achieve and exceed
    sales targets, revenue goals, and profit margins
    set by the management.
  • Collaborate with the pricing, operations, and overseas agents to provide competitive solutions.
  • Conduct market research to understand industry trends, competitor activities, and customer needs.
  • Negotiate contracts, freight rates, and service agreements with clients.
  • Prepare and present
    sales pipelines, forecasts, and weekly/monthly reports
    to management.
  • Represent the company in
    networking events, trade fairs, and industry forums
    (WCA, FIATA, regional networks).
  • Ensure customer satisfaction through smooth coordination with the operations team.
  • Drive
    cross-selling and upselling
    of logistics services to maximize business potential.

Key Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in business administration
    , Logistics, Supply Chain, or a related field
    .
  • Minimum
    3–7 years of experience
    in sales/business development in the
    freight forwarding industry
    .
  • Strong knowledge of
    international trade terms (Incoterms: FOB, CIF, DDP, DAP, etc.)
    and global shipping processes.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Strong networking ability with shippers, consignees, consolidators, and overseas agents.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and CRM tools.
  • Ability to work independently with a target-driven approach.
