Role & responsibilities
1. Talent Acquisition & Onboarding
- Manage the end-to-end hiring process, including creating compelling job postings, sourcing, screening applications, conducting/coordinating interviews, and extending offers.
- Coordinate new employee onboarding, ensuring a smooth, welcoming transition and timely completion of all necessary documentation and system setup.
2. Compensation & Payroll Administration
- Manage the full monthly payroll cycle, liaising closely with the Finance team to ensure accuracy, timeliness, and regulatory compliance for all employee salary and tax deductions.
- Administer and accurately calculate employee incentives, bonuses, and commission schemes in line with company policies and performance data.
- Manage employee benefits, leaves, and claims, including accurate record-keeping and processing.
- Process and verify employee travel expenses and reimbursement reports, scrutinizing claims against company travel policies for compliance.
3. Employee Relations & Performance Management
- Act as a trusted point of contact for employees, addressing concerns, mediating conflicts, and actively supporting a positive, engaged work culture.
- Support the annual and mid-cycle performance review processes, including probation assessments and the tracking of key performance indicators (KPIs).
- Identify skill gaps and organize internal or external training and development programs, maintaining detailed training records.
4. HR Compliance & Policy Management
- Develop, update, and implement HR policies and procedures to align with business needs and ensure consistent application across all operational tasks.
- Ensure rigorous adherence to all applicable labour laws (e.g., PF, ESIC, POSH, etc.) and support internal/external audits.
- Maintain accurate, confidential employee records related to compensation, benefits, and general personnel data.
5. Cross-Functional Reporting & Coordination
- Conduct proactive follow-up and tracking on critical business reports, specifically the Quotation Sales Report (QSR) and Sales Orders (SO).
- Coordinate with Inside Sales, the Product Team, and Business Development to ensure timely submission and status updates of QSR/SO reports impacting operational data.
- Prepare reports on HR and operational KPIs for management review and continuous process improvement.
- Support workforce planning, organizational structure updates, and change management initiatives.
6. Facility & General Administration
- Ensure smooth office operations, managing supplies, equipment maintenance, and overall facility needs.
- Track and manage office inventory, overseeing vendor payments and minor procurement processes.
- Handle vendor and service coordination for essential admin tasks (e.g., cleaning, security, repairs, courier services).
- Assist senior management with personal/confidential administrative tasks as required (e.g., banking, filing returns, scheduling appointments).
Preferred candidate profile
- Seeking a dynamic Human Resources professional to effectively manage HR Operations and drive Talent Acquisition initiatives. The ideal candidate will be instrumental in fostering a productive, harmonious, and engaging work environment.
- Education: Any Graduate degree is required. A degree in Human Resources, Commerce, or a related field is a strong plus.
- Experience: A minimum of 2 years of progressive experience in an HR Operations, HR Generalist, or HR Administration role.
- Candidates located in the vicinity are strongly preferred.
