Role Overview
We are looking for a dynamic Business Development Manager – C&I to drive growth across India. The ideal candidate will identify new business opportunities, manage client relationships, and ensure compliance with state energy policies while delivering cost-effective renewable energy solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Generate and manage leads in the C&I sector across multiple states.
- Analyze electricity bills, tariffs & consumption to propose optimized solutions.
- Stay updated on state energy regulations, policies & incentives.
- Develop techno-commercial proposals and negotiate PPAs/contracts.
- Build strong client relationships with decision-makers (CFOs, facility managers, sustainability heads).
- Collaborate with internal teams for smooth project execution.
- Track market trends and prepare business development reports & forecasts.
Qualifications & Skills
- Bachelor's in Engineering/Business/Energy (MBA preferred).
- 2–5 years of C&I business development experience in renewable energy/power sector.
- Strong knowledge of open access, tariff structures & regulatory frameworks.
- Expertise in tariff calculations & electricity bill analysis.
- Excellent communication, negotiation & presentation skills.
- Willingness to travel extensively.
