Role Overview

We are looking for a dynamic Business Development Manager – C&I to drive growth across India. The ideal candidate will identify new business opportunities, manage client relationships, and ensure compliance with state energy policies while delivering cost-effective renewable energy solutions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Generate and manage leads in the C&I sector across multiple states.
  • Analyze electricity bills, tariffs & consumption to propose optimized solutions.
  • Stay updated on state energy regulations, policies & incentives.
  • Develop techno-commercial proposals and negotiate PPAs/contracts.
  • Build strong client relationships with decision-makers (CFOs, facility managers, sustainability heads).
  • Collaborate with internal teams for smooth project execution.
  • Track market trends and prepare business development reports & forecasts.

Qualifications & Skills

  • Bachelor's in Engineering/Business/Energy (MBA preferred).
  • 2–5 years of C&I business development experience in renewable energy/power sector.
  • Strong knowledge of open access, tariff structures & regulatory frameworks.
  • Expertise in tariff calculations & electricity bill analysis.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation & presentation skills.
  • Willingness to travel extensively.
