Specialist and 1 Post of Insurance Specialist on contract basis as Project Based Contract Staff under the project PMU for Department Of Fisheries (DoF)

Scope of work

  • To assist the PMU in implementation of Aquaculture Insurance.
  • Deals with all matters related to insurance within the project, including assessing insurance needs, procuring appropriate insurance coverage managing insurance claims, and ensuring compliance with insurance requirements.
  • To provide data and reports on Insurance policy, claims experience, and other key metrics to management.
  • Collaborating with all stakeholders across departments, functions, and levels of the organization related to implementation of Aquaculture Insurance.

Qualification/ Experience

  • MBA with 5 years of Experience in the field of insurance, designing insurance products etc.
  • Strong working knowledge of insurance products and underwriting guidelines
  • Preference would be given to candidate worked with international organizations like World Bank, ADB, AFD, KFW, GIZ etc

Remuneration

  • Candidate will be paid consolidated remuneration based on the experience, educational qualification and overall suitability of the candidate for the above-mentioned posts.
  • Salary will be commensurate based upon experience and last drawn salary.
  • The candidates will be liable for tax liabilities under section 194 J of the Income Tax Act & Rules in force and the tax will be deducted at source

Contract Period

  • The Project Based Contract Staff (PBCS) would be hired on contract basis initially for a period of 11 months which may be extended based on the requirement of the project and performance or will be co-terminus with the project period
