NABCONS invites ONLY ONLINE applications from Indian Citizens for 01 post of Communication

Specialist and 1 Post of Insurance Specialist on contract basis as Project Based Contract Staff under the project PMU for Department Of Fisheries (DoF)

Scope of work

  • Support implementation of the Communication Strategy under guidance of the Communication Head.
  • As may be required, develop target-group specific communication materials.
  • Support state/district fisheries officers in rolling out communication campaigns.
  • Development of multi- media information dissemination platforms including newsletter, brochures, videos, etc.
  • Facilitate work of the Communication and/or Event management Firms contracted by the PMU.
  • Research and write press releases and company website updates, including
  • newsletters, blog posts and infographics.
  • Support implementation of the Project and any other program assigned by the Project Director

Qualification/ Experience

  • Masters in mass communication/Journalism or equivalent
  • 7 years of experience in managing IEC and Communication function in public or reputed private sector agencies.
  • Experience in designing and implementing communication campaigns.
  • Proven ability to develop communication materials.
  • Proven capacity to work hard and produce quality products within tight deadlines.
  • Excellent communication skills in English and at least one (preferably two) Major Indian language, Oral and written

Remuneration

  • Candidate will be paid consolidated remuneration based on the experience, educational qualification and overall suitability of the candidate for the above-mentioned posts.
  • Salary will be commensurate based upon experience and last drawn salary.
  • The candidates will be liable for tax liabilities under section 194 J of the Income Tax Act & Rules in force and the tax will be deducted at source

Contract Period

  • The Project Based Contract Staff (PBCS) would be hired on contract basis initially for a period of 11 months which may be extended based on the requirement of the project and performance or will be co-terminus with the project period
