Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented Insurance Specialist – Virtual Assistant to support our insurance operations team. The role involves working on Applied Epic software for policy administration, client documentation, endorsements, and assisting Client Representatives with day-to-day insurance servicing tasks.
Key Responsibilities
- Create new prospect client profiles in Applied Epic.
- Prepare and send applications to clients for e-signature using DocuSign.
- Attach binding documents and maintain policy records in Applied Epic.
- Add new and renewal insurance policies in Applied Epic.
- Send declaration pages and other policy documents to insured clients.
- Download declaration pages from carrier websites and update records.
- Create and fill out LPR forms, send documents for client signatures.
- Create and issue Certificates of Insurance (COIs) using Applied Epic.
- Process endorsements to existing policies and update Applied Epic accordingly.
- Send payment requests to clients and forward proof of payments to Accounting.
- Provide support in various administrative and insurance servicing tasks assigned by Client Representatives.
Skills & Competencies
- Hands-on experience with Applied Epic (mandatory).
- Knowledge of insurance documentation, endorsements, and policy servicing.
- Familiarity with DocuSign or other e-signature platforms.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in documentation.
- Excellent communication skills (written & verbal).
- Ability to work independently in a remote/virtual environment.
- Good organizational and multitasking abilities.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Insurance, or related field preferred.
- 2+ years of experience in insurance operations / virtual assistant roles.
- Experience with US insurance carriers and policy workflows is a plus.
- Ready to Work in US Shift ( if needed it will be work from home ).
