Job Title: Cluster Sales Manager - Personal Loan

Role & responsibilities:

  • Responsible for establishing the Piramal brand by overseeing the sales team and businessdevelopment activities for the Personal Loans business for all the branches in purview.
  • Prepare branch wise implementation plan to achieve defined targets in alignment with the Regional Sales Manager
  • Ensure achievement for overall sales and cross sell targets for the area through building and development of internal team of Sales Managers and DSTs and channel partners, while ensuring maintenance of required standards for customer satisfaction, profitability metrics and product mix.
  • Devise strategies to continually improve disbursements in Personal Loans business for all branches in the area and guide the teams in operationalizing the same.
  • Evaluate market trends and gather competitive information to plan and undertake measures for expansion of the business within the geographic limit of the area as budgeted and act as the feedback loop from branch to region
  • Provide feedback on product offerings, channels and processes to the Business Head and other functional teams (Product, Marketing, credit, operations, technical, legal) to identify opportunities for improvement
  • Conduct regular visits to the locations to nurture the relationships established by the internal team and channel partners and collaborate with alliance partners and distributors to grow the market presence
  • Ensure implementation of SOPs and best practices across all branches mapped to the area and guide salesmanagers how to best achieve business targets and manage productivity
  • Monitor annual budgeted expenses and manage resources within budgetary guidelines according to the company policy
  • Minimize audit deviations by ensuring compliance to all policies and processes for the area
  • Track and analyze reports and MIS, review and implement performance sheets and provide feedback to Sales Managers for course correction
  • Guide Sales Managers for all branches in purview on activating the channel partners to expand reach of the products, within the defined geographical limits
  • Support alternate channel teams by ensuring appropriate protocols and adherence thereof, by internal teams for proper onboarding, engagement and lead generation at branches
  • Assess the training and development needs of the teams and channel partners and collaborate with the relevant stakeholders to ensure delivery of the same.

Preferred candidate profile:

  • 8-10 years of relevant experience in a mid-sized HFC or NBFC
  • Minimum 2-3 years of team handling experience in Personal Loans business, with strong experience in developing open market channels (both DSA/Direct)
  • Exposure to digital lending process preferred
  • Experience of recruiting and training of sales team and channel partners
  • Experience of managing multiple branches with deep knowledge andunderstanding of the local market
  • Excellent written & verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work under tight deadlines
  • Knowledge of compliance regulations as issued by NHB, RBI etc.
