Recruitment Mantra Hiring for HUTNI PROJEKT FM (INDIA) PVT. LTD.

Position: Design Engineer (Civil & Structural)

Work Experience:
15–20 Years

Location:
Kolkata, West Bengal

Key Responsibilities

  • Design Steel and RCC structures along with foundations.
  • Prepare GA drawings (RCC/Steel structures) from Mechanical/Electrical/Piping/Layout Assignment Drawings.
  • Review and check Detail Drawings derived from GA drawings.
  • Verify Bar Bending Schedules (BBS), Material Lists, and BOQs.
  • Prepare cost estimates from given drawings.
  • Develop Area Layout Drawings including roads, drains, pits, traps, and other facilities.
  • Vet and check GA & Detail drawings of structures and foundations.
  • Review Survey Drawings and use them effectively for preparing Layout Drawings.
  • Attend client, consultant, and vendor meetings.
  • Coordinate with outsourced agencies for project-related activities.

Required Qualifications & Skills

  • Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering.
  • 15–20 years of experience in Layout, GA, and Detail Drawing preparation for RCC & Steel Structures in large Infrastructure/Turnkey/Maintenance Projects (Power Plants, Steel Plants, Chemical Plants).
  • Strong conceptual understanding of Superstructure & Foundation Design (RCC/Steel).
  • Knowledge of Surveying and ability to vet/comment on Survey Drawings.
  • Ability to work independently.
  • Proficiency in STAAD Pro, AutoCAD, MS Word, and MS Excel.
