This Position reports to:

Your role and responsibilities (Mandatory):

In this role, you will have the opportunity to lead the Operations and Service functions at the global level. Each day, you will set and drive global strategy in all the Operations and Service areas, along with target setting for the entire value chain, including safety, quality, inventory, delivery performances, productivity, NPS, service requests and project execution. You will also showcase your expertise by designing the global operational footprint strategy as per product portfolio management requirements and supporting local units in the execution, including Mergers and Acquisitions (M&A) and divestment projects support.

This role is contributing to the Process Automation Business of Process Industries Digital Software organization globally.

You will be mainly accountable for:

• Defining, aligning, driving, and continuously improving customer-focused Operations and Service strategy in alignment with global organization strategy.
• Establishing effective sales and operations planning processes for the global organization and achieving the desired outcomes.
• Coordinating project execution and/or quality issues in global customer accounts and following up and supporting the timely and effective resolution, including risk assessment, to achieve optimal outcomes.
• Championing a culture of continuous improvement by deploying a set of continuous improvement competencies and promoting transparency to monitor progress within your area of responsibility.
• Creating and driving implementation of service strategy as a member of the management team.
• Ensuring that strategic plans are implemented consistently in the service organization through collaboration with other businesses.
• Executing service and sales channel strategy within their own area of responsibility.
• Implementing productized service offerings and materials for marketing purposes and invests in service sales to increase market penetration.
• Driving consistent development of processes and practices based on customer feedback (Net Promoter Score - NPS).

Qualifications for the role :

• You are highly skilled in industrial digital software and the mining and minerals, pulp, paper & fibre and metals & power conversion markets
• You have 15 years of experience in the industrial advanced software space working as commercial and operations leader with industrial software solutions and relevant customers
• Possess an enhanced knowledge in project execution and customer service for software solutions including Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES), Advanced Process Control, Asset Performance Management, Energy Management as well as latest AI/ML, GenAI and cloud/edge technologies
• You demonstrate innovation in collaboration and team leadership
• Proven experience in industrial software/engineering/process technologies, including workforce planning and project management for industrial software solutions
• Must be data-driven and have presentation skills for senior level reviews
• You are at ease communicating in English
• You hold a valid right-to-work visa in India
• Travel up to 30% will be required
