1Chevron Engineering and Innovation Excellence Center (ENGINE) Digital Platform (DP) IT Operations Leader will assist the Dy Director IT Foundation in establishing and leading the Digital Platform IT Operations team based in India supporting the applications used by functional areas of Surface Assets, Sub-Surface, Wells (Drilling) and Health, Safety and Environment business users. Responsibilities include selection, onboarding and leadership of DP IT Operations team leaders and members for ENGINE. This role will be responsible for supporting and enhancing the IT operations for all applications used by the Chevron Digital Platforms mentioned above covering Incident Management, Application reliability & Resiliency, IRM and Compliance activities along with other operational responsibilities

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science/Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience) and/or  MBA/MS  with demonstrated proficiency in managing large complex programs in Leadership role.

Knowledge and Skills

• Proven experience in leading and managing teams.
• 18 to 20 plus years' experience with multiple IT technical skills and support centralized operation.
• Have broad experience with People and Talent Management processes and activities (i.e. recruiting, PDC, supervision) and proven ability to grow leader of leaders.
• Collaborate with stakeholders and delivery partners, including peers at other locations, to execute the prioritized, strategic initiatives and DP Operations Core objectives.
• Provide technical support and mentoring to junior staff
• Manage performance and development of team leaders.
• Experience of working in O&G related solutions is a plus.
• Should have led a large team and delivered across geographies supporting and managing a large portfolio of applications and business functional workflows

Key Responsibilities

• The candidate will partner with the GM of IT Operations to support the delivery of high-quality, reliable, and cost-effective services for Chevron's global Digital Platform operations and will report to the ENGINE Director IT.
• Will be accountable and responsible to ensure the team deliver on the objective for Change & Release Management, SLA/SLO management, MSP management, CMDB accuracy & Consistency, Business Continuity readiness & Disaster Recovery and BCM & Communications for all solutions/applications used by the Surface, Sub-Surface, HSE and Wells digital Platforms by working closely with the Digital Platform Change Organization in a One-Team behaviour.
• The Leader is accountable for delivery of operations services like Incident Management using SNOW, full stack Application end-to-end observability, Database Management operations support SQL/Oracle databases & data warehouse solutions and Service Desk & Knowledge Management across the enterprise
• Lead a large organization to drive strategic direction and develop IT operations roadmap and service quality management
• Build team alignment and consensus, ensuring teams have a clear understanding of the global priorities. Enable others to work effectively and collaboratively in a multi-discipline, multi-function, multi-cultural, and matrix environment.
• Collaborate with stakeholders and delivery partners, including peers at other locations, to execute the prioritized and strategic initiatives.
• Collaborate very closely with the ENGINE Digital Platform Leader and ENGINE IT Infrastructure leader to ensure that there is alignment and high reliability of the applications used by the business functions across the enterprise.
