Social Media Intern – Spotlight Creations

Location: Chennai (On-site)

Type: Internship (Full-time / Part-time options)

Duration: 2 Months

Stipend: ₹5,000 – ₹10,000 (based on performance)

About the Role

We're looking for a creative and enthusiastic Social Media Intern to join our growing team at Spotlight Creations. If you live and breathe reels, trends, and all things digital — this is your stage to shine You'll work closely with our content and design teams to bring brand stories to life on Instagram, Facebook, and more.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in planning and creating content (posts, reels, stories) for multiple brands.
  • Research the latest social media trends, hashtags, and sound trends to inspire campaigns.
  • Coordinate with designers and copywriters to execute creative ideas.
  • Manage posting schedules and ensure brand consistency across platforms.
  • Help track performance metrics (reach, engagement, followers) and suggest improvements.
  • Engage with online communities — replying to comments, DMs, and building brand interaction.

What You'll Learn

  • Real-world experience in social media marketing and brand storytelling.
  • Using tools like Meta Business Suite, Canva, Creator Studio, and scheduling platforms.
  • How to analyze content performance and optimize engagement.

Requirements

  • Basic knowledge of Instagram, Facebook, and short-form content trends.
  • Familiarity with tools like Canva or CapCut is a plus.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
  • Freshers or students pursuing Marketing, Media, or Visual Communication preferred.
