About Redacto
Redacto is an India-first, AI-powered privacy, data-governance, and third-party risk platform for regulated enterprises. We build software that makes DPDP, RBI/SEBI/IRDAI outsourcing rules, and global privacy regimes (GDPR, SOC 2, PCI overlays) operational, not ornamental. We sell to banks, NBFCs, insurers, fintechs, and service providers that must prove where data lives, who is using it, and whether vendors are compliant.
The Role
As a
Sales Development Representative
, you will be the first point of contact for Redacto's potential customers. Your mission:
identify, engage, and qualify
opportunities within India's
banking, financial services, and insurance (BFSI)
space.
You'll combine research, cold outreach, and consultative communication to open high-value conversations with CXOs, risk, compliance, and IT leaders — laying the foundation for our sales pipeline.
This is a high-energy, metrics-driven role that demands curiosity, persistence, and passion for helping enterprises solve complex privacy and compliance challenges.
What You'll Do
- Identify and research target accounts across BFSI, fintech, and regulated sectors in India
- Run multi-channel outreach (calls, emails, LinkedIn, events) to generate qualified opportunities
- Conduct initial discovery conversations to understand prospect pain points and fit
- Book qualified meetings and demos for Account Executives / Sales Hunters
- Collaborate closely with marketing to refine messaging, campaigns, and ICP outreach
- Maintain accurate records and activities within the CRM (HubSpot)
- Track, measure, and iterate on outreach performance — test new messaging and sequences
- Stay current on privacy regulations (DPDP, RBI, IRDAI, ISO, SOC 2) and Redacto's product value propositions
- Represent Redacto at industry events or webinars to identify new leads
What We're Looking For
Experience & Skills
- 1–3 years of experience in
B2B SaaS / enterprise technology sales / lead generation - Prior exposure to BFSI / fintech / compliance-driven sectors is a strong plus
- Proven success in
outbound prospecting
or pipeline creation roles
- Excellent communication (verbal + written), active listening, and storytelling skills
- Strong research and LinkedIn / CRM fluency; ability to personalize outreach
- Resilience and drive — you thrive on rejections and turn "no" into "not yet"
- High ownership, adaptability, and curiosity to learn about enterprise sales cycles
- Comfort with tools like HubSpot, Sales Navigator, Apollo, or similar
Bonus Points
- Experience in privacy, risk, security, or compliance SaaS tools
- Familiarity with MEDDICC methodologies
- Ambition to grow into an Account Executive / Sales Manager role
What Success Looks Like (First 6–12 Months)
- Build and maintain a consistent outbound pipeline for BFSI vertical
- Deliver a steady flow of qualified opportunities for closers / account executives
- Master Redacto's value narrative and deliver compelling pitches to CXO audiences
- Contribute to 30–40% of new opportunities sourced from outbound channels
- Collaborate on refining Redacto's ICP and messaging playbook for BFSI accounts
