Role Objective:

We are looking for a highly skilled and proactive
Industrial Engineer
at the Deputy Manager level with
8–12 years of experience
in Industrial Engineering functions within the
aerospace or automobile sectors
. The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving productivity, process improvements, and lean initiatives across the manufacturing plant. This role involves leading industrial engineering practices, standardizing best practices, improving operational KPIs, and driving cross-functional teams (CFTs) to achieve manufacturing excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct
  method study and motion study
  to optimize work processes and eliminate non-value-added activities
• Analyze
  cycle times, line balancing, and takt times
  to improve productivity and efficiency
• Drive
  Lean Manufacturing
  principles across the factory, including
  5S, Kaizen, VSM, SMED, Poka-Yoke, and TPM
• Plan and lead
  Kaizen events
  and
  continuous improvement drives
  to enhance performance at the shop floor
• Implement and sustain
  World Class Manufacturing (WCM)
  and
  Smart Factory
  initiatives including
  MES (Manufacturing Execution Systems)
• Monitor and improve KPIs such as
  OEE, line efficiency, labor productivity, yield, and material utilization
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (CFTs) to identify pain points and deploy effective
  efficiency improvement projects
• Conduct
  time-motion analysis
  and create standard operating procedures (SOPs)
• Lead documentation for all productivity and efficiency improvement initiatives
• Train shop-floor teams on lean practices and ensure ongoing adherence to standards
• Ensure effective utilization of manpower, machines, and materials
• Prepare detailed reports on productivity, efficiency improvements, and lean projects for leadership review
• Benchmark industry best practices and implement relevant solutions tailored to plant operations

Education & Experience:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in
  Industrial Engineering
  ,
  Mechanical Engineering
  , or a related field
• 8–12 years
  of experience in Industrial Engineering roles within
  aerospace or automobile
  manufacturing
• Proven track record of
  lean implementation
  ,
  efficiency improvement
  , and
  productivity enhancement projects
• Strong knowledge in
  Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, VSM, Kaizen
  , and
  5S methodology
• Exposure to
  Smart Factory initiatives
  ,
  MES systems
  , and
  digital manufacturing tools
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication, documentation, and cross-functional leadership abilities

Preferred Skills & Certifications:

• Certified
  Lean Six Sigma Green/Black Belt
• Experience with
  World Class Manufacturing (WCM)
  frameworks
• Knowledge of
  smart manufacturing systems

Working Conditions:

• Full-time on-site position based in
  Bangalore, India
• May require extended hours or weekend work during critical phases
