Head of Sales – Export Market | Liquor & Spirits
Job Profile
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Head of Sales – Export Market to lead our international sales and global business development efforts. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in liquor exports, international regulations, distributor management, and market expansion. This is a strategic leadership role responsible for driving export revenue, establishing international partnerships, and expanding our global footprint.
Key Responsibilities
· Lead and manage the entire export sales function for all liquor and spirit products.
· Develop and implement strategic plans for international markets, including Asia, Middle East, Europe, and the Americas.
· Identify, evaluate, and build relationships with global distributors, importers, and retail chains.
· Ensure compliance with international trade regulations, labelling laws, and excise rules for exports.
· Negotiate contracts, pricing, and distribution agreements with overseas partners.
· Track market trends, competitor activity, and consumer preferences in key international markets.
· Collaborate with production, quality, and logistics teams to ensure timely delivery and product consistency.
· Manage and mentor the export sales team, setting targets, KPIs, and incentives.
· Report on sales forecasts, revenue performance, and market insights to senior management.
· Explore opportunities for new product launches and market penetration abroad.
Skills and Qualification
· Graduate / Postgraduate in Business, Marketing, or related field (MBA preferred).
· –18 years of experience in international sales/export within the liquor, spirits, or FMCG industry.
· Strong network with international distributors, importers, and trade partners.
· Knowledge of export regulations, labelling standards, and shipping documentation.
· Proven track record of achieving revenue targets in export markets.
· Excellent negotiation, communication, and leadership skills.
· Strategic thinker with a hands-on approach to execution.
