Work you'll do
The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in providing strategic insights and advanced economic analysis to support senior leadership and clients. The candidate will be instrumental in interpreting complex data, monitoring industry trends, and presenting findings through effective data visualization techniques.

Your Key Responsibilities Will Include

• Provide strategic insights to Deloitte's senior leadership on key markets and client priorities, encompassing growth strategies, competition, innovation, industry disruptions, and alliances and ecosystems.
• Master and apply research tools and methodologies to develop comprehensive consultative research solutions tailored to client needs.
• Conduct in-depth analysis across strategic, macroeconomic, and public policy domains by synthesizing various pieces of information, identifying patterns, and constructing a logical framework to deliver compelling analyses.
• Develop and apply advanced econometric models to interpret complex data sets and forecast economic outcomes, providing actionable insights.
• Continuously monitor, analyze, and interpret the latest developments in economics, public policy, and related fields to inform and enhance strategic recommendations.
• Utilize data visualization techniques to present complex economic data and insights.
• Engage with clients to understand their needs, communicate findings effectively, and provide tailored recommendations that address their specific challenges and opportunities.
• Foster a culture of innovation by continuously seeking opportunities to improve research methodologies, analytical tools, and strategic frameworks.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in economics.
• Exceptional communication skills reflect the ability to build a robust narrative and articulate a point of view in written and spoken business English.
• Specializations in econometrics, macroeconomics, public policy, or financial economics are highly desirable.
• Proficiency in statistics and econometric modeling techniques.
• Familiarity with data analysis software (e.g., R, SAS, Python).
• Good knowledge of public sector-related databases (OECD, World Bank, IMF, etc.), public sources of information
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (PowerPoint, Word, and Excel).
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
• Exposure to Generative AI tools and prompt engineering is an added advantage.

Timings: 11 AM to 8 PM

CoRe Research & Insights provides secondary research and analysis services to global Deloitte Member Firms supporting pursuit, business development, practice development, and client engagements. The team uses exclusive sources, specialized research skills, and industry expertise to develop insightful research reports, delivering significant value to customers across Deloitte's global network.
