About the Role
GMDT Marine and Industrial Engineering Pvt Ltd. is seeking a Senior Sales Engineer – UPS who is passionate about power solutions and eager to drive business growth in the UPS and power backup systems segment. The ideal candidate will have strong technical knowledge, excellent communication skills, and a proven track record in industrial and commercial sales.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and develop new business opportunities for UPS systems and related power backup solutions.
- Manage and grow relationships with existing customers, channel partners, and consultants.
- Conduct technical presentations, site visits etc.
- Understand client requirements and provide customized UPS configurations and quotations.
- Collaborate with internal teams for project execution and after-sales support.
- Prepare sales forecasts, reports, and market analysis.
- Achieve assigned sales and revenue targets.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- B.E./B.Tech/Diploma in Electrical, Electronics, or Instrumentation Engineering.
- 6–10 years of relevant experience in selling UPS / Power Backup / Electrical Equipment.
- Strong understanding of single-phase and three-phase UPS systems, inverters, and batteries.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Strong ability to manage industrial, commercial, and institutional clients.
- Proficiency in MS Office and CRM tools.
- Self-driven, target-oriented, and customer-focused professional.
