Sales Engineer

Roles and Responsibilities:
- Proactively identify and pursue new sales leads in target markets and industries.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with prospective and existing customers.
- Conduct site visits, technical presentations, and product demonstrations to showcase product capabilities.
- Understand customer technical requirements and propose suitable solutions.
- Prepare and deliver accurate quotations and negotiate contracts within company guidelines.
- Collaborate with internal teams (technical, service, operations) to ensure smooth project execution.
- Maintain up-to-date records of leads, opportunities, and customer interactions in the CRM system.
- Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and provide market feedback to management.
- Achieve and exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets.

- Technical Support / Engineering Team
- Operations / Service Team
- Finance and Commercial Departments
- Senior Management
Key Competencies required:
- Strong technical knowledge of industrial products and solutions.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Proven negotiation and closing skills.
- Ability to build and maintain relationships at all organizational levels.
- Self-motivated with strong prospecting and lead-generation skills.
- Results-oriented with strong problem-solving abilities.
- Familiarity with CRM tools and sales reporting.
- Willingness to travel frequently to customer sites.
Qualifications & Experience:
- B.E. / B.Tech in Mechanical, Electrical, or Industrial Engineering.
- 3–6 years of experience in technical sales or business development of industrial products.
- Proven track record in B2B sales, customer engagement, and solution selling.
- Experience with manufacturing or OEM clients preferred.
- Familiarity with CRM tools and willingness to travel extensively.
