Job Description – Sales Engineer

  1. Position: Sales Engineer

    Location: Ahmedabad

  2. Department: Sales & Marketing

    Reports To: Head of Sales

Educational Qualification

  • BE Mechanical / BE Electrical
  • MBA (Preferred)

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify, research, and develop new marketing and sales opportunities in line with company goals.
  • Understand client requirements, propose suitable technical solutions, and recommend system improvements.
  • Gather, analyze, and summarize market data and trends to prepare sales and technical reports.
  • Maintain and strengthen relationships with clients through regular visits and proactive engagement.
  • Anticipate customer needs and propose new product/solution opportunities to maximize sales.
  • Stay updated with industry trends by attending conferences, workshops, and training programs.
  • Collaborate with internal teams (Engineering, Production, Service) to ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Achieve assigned sales targets and contribute to revenue growth.

Required Skills & Competencies

  • Strong technical knowledge in Mechanical / Electrical engineering.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and customer relationship management skills.
  • Ability to understand and present complex technical solutions in a simple, business-oriented way.
  • Analytical mindset with capability to assess market trends.
  • Self-motivated, target-driven, and willing to travel extensively.

Experience

  • 2–5 years of experience in Sales / Marketing of Industrial Machinery, Automation, or Engineering products (Freshers with strong technical and communication skills may also apply).

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: Up to ₹600,000.00 per year
