About the Role:

At Shalom Backpackers Rishikesh, we're looking for a dedicated and detail-oriented Housekeeper to join our vibrant hostel team. The role involves maintaining cleanliness and hygiene across guest rooms, dormitories, common areas, café, and outdoor spaces—ensuring every traveler enjoys a spotless and comfortable stay.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Clean and sanitize dorms, private rooms, bathrooms, and public areas daily.
  • Change linens, make beds, and replenish room supplies.
  • Maintain cleanliness of the reception, café area, terrace, and outdoor spaces.
  • Perform deep cleaning tasks as scheduled (windows, fans, walls, etc.).
  • Report any maintenance issues or damages to the front desk/manager.
  • Ensure housekeeping supplies are stocked and used efficiently.
  • Follow hostel hygiene and safety protocols at all times.

Requirements:

  • Prior experience in housekeeping (preferably in hotels/hostels).
  • Attention to detail and cleanliness standards.
  • Good physical stamina and time management skills.
  • Friendly, honest, and team-oriented attitude.
  • Willingness to work in a dynamic hostel environment.
