As an Associate Project Manager, you will be responsible for managing the full project lifecycle—ensuring delivery within defined quality, cost, and schedule parameters. You will work closely with clients and internal teams to set clear expectations, drive execution, and ensure customer satisfaction. Beyond managing live projects, this role also calls for account growth and supporting new business opportunities.

A strong understanding of the eLearning industry, adult learning principles, instructional design methodologies, and project management tools (especially MS Project - MPP) will be critical to your success.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop detailed project plans (using MS Project / MPP) based on requirements.

  • Ensure achievement of:

    • Project quality goals

    • Customer satisfaction

    • Delivery deadlines

    • Completion within assigned budget

  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams (Instructional Design, Media, LMS, and others) to ensure smooth and timely execution.

  • Track and manage project activities at a task level, including team assignments, task dependencies, and inter-team handovers.

  • Maintain real-time updates on project trackers, plans, and systems.

  • Understand customer expectations and collaborate with senior Project Leaders to build long-term relationships.

  • Provide structured and timely feedback to team members.

  • Conduct regular risk analysis and escalate/mitigate with stakeholders.

  • Manage day-to-day team operations: leave planning, conflict resolution, resource scheduling, and work allocation.

  • Prepare and present Billing, MIS, and project performance reports to clients and management.

  • Coordinate with contractual/external vendors for task allocation and schedule adherence.

  • Optimize utilization of resources including manpower, software, hardware, and vendor costs.


Job Requirements:

Minimum Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree (any discipline).

  • 6+ years of experience in the online/eLearning industry, with proven ability to deliver strong customer service.

  • 3+ years of project management experience within the learning industry.

  • Experience managing teams of 5+ members across the full project lifecycle (initiation to closure).

  • Strong leadership, stakeholder management, and decision-making skills.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Project (MPP) for project planning and scheduling.

Preferred Requirements:

  • Experience in Instructional Design (ID) or adult learning methodologies.

  • PMI / PMP certification.

  • Exposure to working with global clients across multiple geographies.
