Role Overview

As a 
Project Associate
, you will play a central role in 
designing, implementing, and monitoring school safety initiatives
. Working closely with the Programs and Partnerships teams, you will help ensure smooth execution of NCSS projects across schools and communities. This is not just a coordination role—it's about being a driver of change, ensuring that every activity, training, and toolkit delivered translates into real impact for children and schools.

Key Responsibilities

1. Project Implementation & Coordination

• Support end-to-end execution of school safety programs and campaigns.
• Coordinate with schools, trainers, and stakeholders to ensure timely delivery of activities.
• Oversee logistics, schedules, and reporting for multiple projects.

2. Research

• Conduct background research on child protection, education policies, and compliance frameworks.
• Document best practices and case studies for wider dissemination.

3. Monitoring & Reporting

• Track project milestones, budgets, and outcomes.
• Maintain detailed documentation and prepare progress reports for internal and external stakeholders.

4. Stakeholder Engagement

• Liaison with schools, NGOs, government bodies, and experts to strengthen project delivery.
• Support in organizing workshops, events, and consultations.

5. Team Support & Collaboration

• Work with Partnerships, Programs, and Communication teams for seamless project execution.
• Share insights and field learnings to improve project design and strategy.

Requirements

• Bachelor's/Master's degree in 
  Education, Social Work, or Social Sciences
  .
• 1–2 years of experience in project coordination, program implementation, or research (experience in education/child rights sector preferred).
• Strong skills in documentation, reporting, and MS Office/Google Workspace.
• Strong familiarity with child protection, school governance, or community-based projects a plus.
• Fluency in English & Hindi; regional languages an advantage.
• Willingness to travel as required.
