Job Role:

Responsibilities:

  • Securing Permissions: Identifying and obtaining necessary permissions from rights holders for using content.
  • Negotiating Licenses: Negotiating terms and fees for content licenses.
  • Contract Management: Drafting, reviewing, and managing contracts related to rights and permissions.
  • Compliance: Ensuring all content usage complies with copyright laws and agreements.
  • Tracking and Documentation: Maintaining accurate records of rights, permissions, and licenses.
  • Stakeholder Communication: Communicating with internal teams and external rights holders.
  • Workflow Optimization: Developing and improving processes for rights clearance and management.
  • Budget Management: Managing costs associated with securing rights and permissions.
  • Data Management: Managing and updating rights data in systems and databases.
  • Asset Management: Ensuring proper management of usage rights and file permissions.

Skills:

  • Knowledge of Copyright Law: Understanding copyright principles and relevant regulations.
