L2 Engineer – Network & Hardware Technical Support / Desktop Support

Location: Ranjangaon, Pune (On-site)

Role Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled L2 Engineer with strong expertise in networking and hardware support. The ideal candidate will be responsible for handling escalated technical issues, ensuring uptime of IT infrastructure, and supporting end-users with advanced troubleshooting.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide Level 2 technical support for desktops, laptops, and network devices.

Troubleshoot and resolve LAN/WAN, router, switch, and connectivity issues.

Perform system installations, configurations, and upgrades.

Manage and maintain network devices, firewalls, and servers.

Ensure system and network security compliance across devices.

Support end-users with advanced hardware, OS, and application issues.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

2–4 years of hands-on experience in Desktop / Network / System Support.

Strong knowledge of networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, DHCP, DNS, VLAN, VPN).

Proficient in hardware troubleshooting and system maintenance.

Familiar with firewalls, routers, and switches (Cisco / Fortinet preferred).

Good understanding of Windows Server and Active Directory.

Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.

Ability to work independently and handle escalations efficiently.

Preferred Certifications (Added Advantage):

CCNA / CompTIA Network+ / MCSA / MCSE
