The Director of Professional Services will lead strategic client engagements and oversee the successful delivery of consulting and implementation services for our Skan platform within the Banking, Financial Services, and Insurance (BFSI) sector. This role requires a unique blend of consulting expertise, delivery leadership, and client management skills — ideal for professionals with a background in top-tier consulting firms (e.g., McKinsey, BCG, Deloitte) who have transitioned into technology-led transformation.
Key Responsibilities
1. Strategy & Leadership
- Shape and execute the Professional Services strategy for key client portfolios, ensuring alignment with business and product objectives.
- Translate client transformation goals into scalable, technology-enabled solutions leveraging 's platform.
- Act as a trusted advisor to client executives, driving thought leadership and longterm value realization.
2. Client Delivery & Engagement
- Lead complex end-to-end delivery programs from discovery through implementation and adoption.
- Drive measurable client outcomes — focusing on process transformation, operational efficiency, and platform ROI.
- Oversee delivery governance, project success metrics, and client satisfaction (CSAT, NPS).
3. Consulting Excellence
- Bring structured problem-solving and change management rigor from consulting practice to every engagement.
- Mentor delivery teams on hypothesis-driven analysis, executive communication, and stakeholder alignment.
- Develop client playbooks, transformation frameworks, and best practices rooted in management consulting discipline.
4. Commercial & Financial Oversight
- Support P&L accountability for assigned client portfolios, focusing on utilization, profitability, and renewal growth.
- Partner with Sales and Product teams in solutioning, proposal development, and commercial structuring.
- Contribute to developing scalable pricing and engagement models (fixed-price, time & material, outcome-based).
5. Team Leadership & Capability Building
- Lead a team of engagement managers, consultants, and solution architects across multiple geographies.
- Build domain expertise in BFSI transformation and platform modernization.
- Foster a culture of consulting excellence, accountability, and customer success.
- Drive continuous improvement in project controls, quality assurance, and risk management practices.
Qualifications & Experience
- Education Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related field; MBA preferred (top-tier school desirable).
- Experience 15–20 years total experience, with at least 5–8 years in management consulting (e.g., McKinsey, BCG, Bain, Deloitte) and 5+ years in technology or cloud delivery leadership.
- Industry Expertise BFSI transformation, digital banking, payments, or data modernization.
- Platform Experience Exposure to cloud ecosystems (AWS, Azure, GCP) or enterprise PaaS/SaaS platforms (ServiceNow, Salesforce, Temenos, Mambu).
- Leadership Skills Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional delivery teams and manage executive stakeholder relationships.
- Analytical Acumen Strong problem-solving, storytelling, and financial modeling skills from consulting background.
- Client Orientation Proven track record managing CxO relationships and delivering transformation outcomes.
