Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute trade marketing strategies to support sales and brand objectives.
  • Align trade marketing activities with sales goals to drive volume and market share.
  • Plan and implement channel-specific promotions and in-store visibility campaigns.
  • Analyze sales data, market trends, and competitor activities to identify opportunities and gaps.
  • Collaborate with sales teams to optimize product placement, promotions, and retail execution.
  • Plan, execute, and manage trade schemes and promotional activities across channels.
  • Manage budgets and track ROI of trade marketing initiatives.
  • Coordinate the development and distribution of trade marketing materials (POSM, displays, etc.).
  • Build strong working relationships with key retail and distribution partners.
  • Monitor trade performance KPIs and provide actionable insights.

Preferred candidate profile

  • Masters Degree.
  • 5+ years of experience in trade marketing and sales, preferably in FMCG or consumer goods.
  • Strong understanding of retail channels, shopper behavior, and trade dynamics.
  • Proven ability to collaborate cross-functionally and drive results through execution.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong analytical mindset with experience in using data to inform decisions.
  • Must have advanced Excel skills (e.g., pivot tables, VLOOKUP, dashboards, data analysis).
