Job Description – HR Manager

The HR Manager is responsible for overseeing all aspects of human resources practices and processes within the organization. This role ensures the company attracts, hires, develops, and retains top talent while maintaining compliance with labor laws and fostering a positive workplace culture. The HR Manager partners closely with leadership to support strategic initiatives, address workforce needs, and enhance overall employee experience.

Key Responsibilities

1. Recruitment & Staffing

  • Develop and manage the full recruitment cycle: sourcing, screening, interviewing, and onboarding.
  • Collaborate with department heads to determine hiring needs and create job descriptions.
  • Implement effective recruitment strategies to attract high-quality candidates.

2. Employee Relations

  • Serve as a point of contact for employee concerns, grievances, and conflict resolution.
  • Promote positive workplace culture through engagement activities and communication initiatives.
  • Conduct investigations and ensure fair and consistent HR practices.

3. Performance Management

  • Oversee performance review processes, goal-setting, and employee development plans.
  • Provide coaching to managers on performance issues and disciplinary actions.
  • Promote continuous employee development and training programs.

4. HR Policies & Compliance

  • Develop, update, and enforce HR policies and procedures.
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws.
  • Maintain accurate employee records and HR documentation.

5. Compensation & Benefits

  • Administer payroll, benefits, and compensation programs.
  • Assist with salary benchmarking and compensation planning.
  • Manage open enrollment and coordinate with benefits providers.

6. Training & Development

  • Identify training needs and implement learning and development programs.
  • Provide leadership training, onboarding sessions, and compliance training.
  • Monitor training effectiveness and employee skill development.

7. HR Strategy & Reporting

  • Contribute to workforce planning and organizational development initiatives.
  • Prepare HR reports and metrics to guide leadership decision-making.
  • Support change management activities and organizational improvements.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field (Master's preferred).
  • 5+ years of HR experience, including 2+ years in a supervisory or managerial role.
  • Strong knowledge of HR laws, regulations, and best practices.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in HRIS systems and MS Office Suite.
  • SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, or PHR certification (preferred).

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹17, ₹61,821.41 per month
