Job Description

:

We are seeking a highly skilled Cloud Specialist: Data Ops Lead to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for leading the data operations efforts within our cloud environment, ensuring the seamless flow of data across various platforms and systems. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to design, implement, and manage cloud-based data solutions that meet business needs. Your expertise will be crucial in optimizing data management processes, ensuring data integrity, and driving innovation in data operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the design, development, and management of data operations processes in a cloud environment.
  • Collaborate with data engineers, analysts, and other stakeholders to understand data requirements and build scalable data pipelines.
  • Monitor and maintain the performance of data operations, troubleshooting and resolving any issues that arise.
  • Implement data governance policies and practices to ensure data quality and compliance.
  • Stay updated with industry trends and best practices to continuously improve data operations.
  • Provide technical guidance and mentorship to team members and other stakeholders.
  • Define metrics and KPIs to measure the success of data initiatives and report findings to leadership.

Skills and Tools Required:

  • Strong proficiency in cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
  • Experience with data management tools and technologies, including ETL/ELT processes.
  • Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, SQL, or Java.
  • Familiarity with data warehousing solutions and big data technologies like Hadoop or Spark.
  • Knowledge of data governance frameworks and best practices.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a focus on data integrity and performance optimization.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Experience with containerization and orchestration tools, such as Docker and Kubernetes, is a plus.

Educational Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Science, or a related field.
  • Relevant certifications in cloud computing or data management are preferred.
