The Role & Responsibilities:
The Tier 2 Service Specialists will be responsible for proactively managing the events / alarms that are created on different facets of the infrastructure.
- Having troubleshooting experience and approach for handling incidents.
- Prepare and follow the technical documents to enhance the knowledgebase.
- Manage the life cycle of the incident escalation.
- Provide technical escalation point for L1 analysts
- Follow documented escalation processes
- Provide advanced troubleshooting for platforms and drive the issue/problem resolution process
- Understanding and exceeding all SLA commitments
- Flexible to work in shifts (24*7)
Primary Experience and Skills Required:
- Educational Requirements
Master Of Comp. Applications, Bachelor of Engineering, Bachelor of Technology.
Technical and Professional Requirements:
Must have skills:
- Must have hands-on knowledge on cloud (AWS/Azure)
- Must have conceptual knowledge on OS Linux and any scripting language (bash/Python)
- Must have windows OS administration knowledge.
- Must have the ability to work independently.
- Must have excellent oral and written communication skills and be able to work.
Good to have skills:
- Understanding of container orchestration tool Kubernetes
- Basic understanding of VMWare EXSI tool for the Virtualization of OS.
- Having exposure on Infra management tool like Ansible, version controlling tool like Git & GitHub, continuous delivery tool like ArgoCD.,
- Good to have hands-on experience on MySQL/Oracle
- Good Understanding of Incident management (ITIL)
- Ticketing tool experience (SNOW/JIRA).
- Basic understanding of Hardware and network level issues.
