About the Role:

We are looking for a Deputy Finance Controller who will be central to ensuring accuracy, compliance, and financial discipline across business units while partnering closely with finance leadership to support decision-making and growth initiatives.

Who We're Looking For:

• Prior Big 4 auditing experience of 3+ yrs post qualification.
• Strong understanding of accounting standards, tax, and compliance frameworks.
• Experience in controllership, MIS reporting, and audit management in a corporate setup.
• Excellent stakeholder management, analytical, and leadership skills.
• Exposure to fast-paced, high-growth environments (startups or dynamic businesses) preferred.

Roles and Responsibilities

Financial Control & Governance

• Lead end-to-end accounting, reporting, and financial control activities.
• Ensure integrity of books of accounts and compliance.
• Establish and monitor internal financial controls and ensure timely closure of audits.
• Strengthen governance practices across cost, compliance, and cash management.

Financial Planning & Reporting
- Drive monthly and annual closings with high accuracy and timeliness.
- Prepare and present MIS, P&L, and board reports to support strategic decisions.
- Partner with business and operations teams to track performance and manage budgets effectively.

Compliance & Risk Management
- Ensure timely compliance with all tax, statutory, and regulatory requirements.
- Manage audits (statutory, internal, and tax) and coordinate with external partners.
- Identify process gaps, implement risk controls, and ensure financial discipline across units.

Process & System Excellence

• Drive automation and process improvements across finance operations.
• Strengthen ERP usage, streamline reconciliations, and enhance reporting accuracy.
• Implement scalable financial processes aligned with business growth and expansion.
