Role & responsibilities :-

  • Assist in planning, organizing, and supervising daily housekeeping operations.
  • Ensure all guest rooms, public areas, and facilities meet brand standards for cleanliness and presentation.
  • Support in scheduling and monitoring staff shifts and duty rosters.
  • Inspect guest rooms and public areas to ensure quality control.
  • Supervise, train, and motivate housekeeping team members.
  • Assist with onboarding and continuous training of staff on cleaning techniques, equipment use, and safety protocols.
  • Provide feedback, resolve staff issues, and maintain team morale.
  • Address guest complaints or requests promptly and professionally.
  • Ensure VIP rooms and special requests are given priority service.
  • Work closely with the front office and maintenance teams to meet guest expectations.
  • Assist in managing housekeeping supplies and linen inventory.
  • Track usage, reduce wastage, and place orders as required.
  • Maintain records of maintenance issues and coordinate with the engineering department for prompt resolution.
  • Ensure compliance with hygiene, sanitation, and safety standards.
  • Train staff on proper use of cleaning chemicals and equipment.
  • Conduct regular safety audits and inspections.
  • Strong leadership and people management skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Eye for detail and high standards of cleanliness.
  • Ability to handle guest complaints with patience and professionalism.
  • Organizational and time-management skills.
  • Knowledge of housekeeping software and inventory systems.
  • Maintain housekeeping records, such as daily room status reports, lost & found logs, and maintenance requests
  • Assist in budget preparation and cost control by minimizing wastage of supplies and utilities.
  • Ensure proper stock levels of cleaning supplies, linen, and guest amenities.
  • Prepare reports on staff performance, productivity, and inventory usage.
