Job Overview

We are seeking a dynamic Housekeeping Supervisor to join our team at StayBird - Hotels And Apartments in Pune. This full-time Junior position requires 1-3 years of experience in the hospitality industry. The role involves supervising housekeeping staff, ensuring cleanliness and hygiene, and delivering a high standard of guest satisfaction. Qualifications and Skills

  • In-depth understanding of cleaning procedures to maintain safety and hygiene standards in all guest and public areas (Mandatory skill).
  • Experience in staff training, ensuring all team members are well-versed in housekeeping standards and practices (Mandatory skill).
  • Proficient in implementing health and safety protocols to maintain a secure environment for both guests and staff.
  • Strong quality control skills to ensure all areas meet the required cleanliness and presentation standards.
  • Demonstrated team leadership abilities to inspire and guide the housekeeping staff to perform effectively.
  • Experience in effective inventory management to maintain adequate stock levels of cleaning supplies and equipment.
  • Familiarity with work order management to streamline housekeeping processes and address maintenance issues promptly.
  • Proficient in scheduling to optimize staff allocation and ensure seamless operation of housekeeping activities.

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Supervise daily housekeeping operations to ensure cleanliness standards are met throughout the hotel.
  • Train, motivate, and manage the housekeeping team, ensuring adherence to StayBird's quality and safety standards.
  • Conduct regular inspections of guestrooms and public areas, addressing any issues that arise promptly.
  • Coordinate and oversee daily housekeeping activities, ensuring efficient team deployment and task assignments.
  • Monitor and manage inventory to ensure sufficient stock of cleaning supplies and equipment is maintained.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations to provide a safe environment for guests and staff.
  • Respond to guest requests and inquiries promptly, ensuring an excellent guest experience.
  • Liaise with other departments to address and resolve maintenance issues that affect housekeeping and room status.
