Synax Technologies is seeking a dynamic and visionary Vice President – Cyber Security to lead our India operations and drive our global cybersecurity strategy.

We are looking for a leader with a strong blend of technical expertise, architectural design experience, and strategic business acumen. The ideal candidate will be responsible for building, scaling, and strengthening a world-class Security Operations Center (SOC) while ensuring all cybersecurity initiatives are aligned with our global business objectives.


Job Title: Vice President – Cyber Security (360° Security Operations & Architecture)

Key Responsibilities

· Architect and Scale:

Design, build, and operationalize a
global Security Operations Center (SOC)
from the ground up including the overall strategy, roadmap, and physical environment setup.

· Technical Leadership:

Provide deep expertise across
cybersecurity technologies and architecture
, ensuring SOC strategy aligns with business objectives and drives measurable business value and revenue growth.

· MSSP Operations:

Oversee
Managed Security Service Provider (MSSP)
operations managing customer engagements, ensuring high-quality service delivery, and integrating SOC solutions seamlessly into client environments.

· Team Leadership:

Build, lead, and mentor a
world-class cybersecurity team
, including threat hunters, SOC managers, incident responders, and analysts. Foster a culture of collaboration, accountability, innovation, and excellence.

· Operational Excellence:

Establish and maintain
frameworks, playbooks, metrics, and KPIs
aligned with international standards and best practices to ensure consistent service quality and operational efficiency.

· Advanced Threat Management:

Lead
threat detection, analysis, and response
leveraging modern technologies SIEM, SOAR, EDR, XDR, UEBA, Threat Intelligence, and AI/ML-driven automation tools.

· Business Alignment:

Collaborate with executive leadership and cross-functional teams to
balance cybersecurity imperatives with business priorities
, ensuring security enables rather than limits innovation.

· Continuous Innovation:

Promote a
culture of adaptability, automation, and operational improvement
, driving innovation in design, architecture, and process optimization.

Qualifications

  • Minimum
    15 years of experience
    in cybersecurity, with at least
    6 years in global SOC/CSOC leadership
    or architecture-focused roles.
  • Proven track record in
    building and scaling
    SOC/CSOC teams from inception to operational maturity.
  • Strong expertise in
    security operations, architecture, threat intelligence, incident response, and endpoint protection
    .
  • Hands-on experience with
    SIEM/SOAR platforms, cloud security frameworks, and automation technologies
    .
  • Deep understanding of
    360° cybersecurity architecture
    , design principles, and governance frameworks.
  • Industry-recognized certifications
    such as CISSP, CISM, CISA, or equivalent (additional credentials preferred).
  • Experience in
    regulated industries
    such as BFSI, healthcare, government, or telecom preferred.
  • Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and executive reporting skills.
