Assistant Area Manager

Role & responsibilities
- Drive project and channel sales for plasters in the assigned territory (Karjat/Kasara to Dombivli & Shilphata)
- Build and manage relationships with builders, architects, contractors, and dealers
- Track ongoing projects, generate leads, and convert enquiries into orders
- Appoint and manage project dealers; resolve supply and pricing issues
- Coordinate with supply chain and service teams to ensure timely delivery and post-sales support
- Train applicators and channel partners on product knowledge and application techniques (especially VAPs)
- Maintain updated records in MS-CRM; manage sales forecasting, reporting, and market development activities
Support in handling key accounts, conflict resolution, and customer satisfaction initiatives
Territory to handle : Mumbai (Kalyan Dombivli to Shilphata, incl. Karjat/Kasara)
Product : Gypsum Plasters
Preferred candidate profile
- Education: BE in Civil / Mechanical / Electrical; MBA preferred
- Experience: 58 years in sales & marketing of building materials or related industries
- Experience in project sales, channel/dealer management, and contractor engagement
- Strong knowledge of plasters, interior construction solutions, and engineering drawings
- Excellent communication, networking, and negotiation skills
- Proficiency in MS-CRM and MS Office; familiarity with market planning and customer service practices
- Energetic, self-driven, and able to thrive in a fast-paced urban development environment
