We are seeking a capable
Area Sales Manager
to join our growing team in India. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving sales growth, managing client relationships, and representing NAVTOR across the Indian market.
CORE ACCOUNTABILITIES
- Develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve company revenue targets within the assigned area.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities with a focus on expanding market share locally.
- Build and maintain strong, long-term client relationships at all levels.
- Represent the company at client meetings, trade shows, and industry events.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless delivery of products and services.
- Prepare and present regular sales reports, forecasts, and performance analyses.
- Negotiate contracts and agreements in line with company policies, margins, and objectives.
- Provide insights on market trends, competitor activity, and customer needs to inform business strategy.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in business, Maritime Studies, Engineering, or a related field preferred.
- 5-10 Years Experience in sales or business development, ideally in the maritime or technology sectors
- Ability to manage complex sales cycles and multiple stakeholders.
- Strong negotiation and presentation skills.
- Independent and ability to multi-task
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong problem-solving ability, balancing customer and NAVTOR's needs
- Highly organized and proactive, with the ability to manage multiple accounts and priorities.
- Willingness to travel occasionally for client meetings, training, and industry events.
