About the Role:
The Global Payroll Manager will be responsible for overseeing end-to-end payroll operations across multiple countries, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely delivery. This role will partner closely with regional HR, Finance, and external vendors to streamline processes, drive automation, and maintain global payroll governance.
Job Description:
- Manage and deliver accurate, compliant payroll across multiple geographies (APAC, EMEA, Americas, Singapore, Australia, Middle East as applicable).
- Oversee payroll processing for diverse employee groups.
- Ensure adherence to local statutory regulations, tax laws, and internal audit requirements.
- Collaborate with HR and Finance on compensation changes, benefits, and reporting requirements.
- Manage vendors, including selection, SLA governance, and performance reviews.
- Lead payroll-related projects such as system migrations, process automation, and compliance audits.
- Drive continuous process improvements to enhance accuracy, efficiency, and employee experience.
- Own reconciliation, accounting entries, and payroll reporting for global leadership.
- Provide expertise on global mobility, taxation, and compliance across jurisdictions.
- Mentor and manage a small team of regional payroll specialists.
Candidate Requirement:
- Master's / Bachelor?s degree in Accounting, Finance, HR, or related field
- 10?15 years of payroll experience with at least 5 years in a global or multi-country environment.
- Strong understanding of international payroll regulations, tax compliance, and reporting standards.
- Experience managing payroll systems..
- Excellent stakeholder management, analytical, and communication skills.
- Proven ability to lead cross-functional initiatives and vendor relationships.
