Role Overview

As the Business Development Lead, you will be responsible for
driving revenue growth in international markets
,
managing and mentoring the sales team
, and
contributing to enterprise-level deals
. This role demands a strong sales leader with a proven track record in IT services sales, excellent communication skills, and the ability to navigate complex enterprise accounts.

Key Responsibilities

Leadership & Strategy:

  • Lead, coach, and mentor the international sales team to achieve targets.
  • Develop go-to-market strategies for new regions, verticals, and service lines.
  • Define sales processes, performance metrics, and reporting mechanisms.

Individual Contribution:

  • Drive end-to-end sales cycle: prospecting, pitching, negotiating, and closing.
  • Build and nurture long-term client relationships with C-level executives and decision-makers.
  • Achieve personal revenue and conversion targets in line with organizational goals.

Collaboration & Growth:

  • Work closely with delivery, product, and marketing teams to craft tailored solutions for clients.
  • Represent the company at international events, conferences, and networking forums.
  • Monitor global IT/AI industry trends and suggest growth opportunities.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's/Master's degree in Business, Marketing, or related field. MBA preferred.
  • 5–10 years of experience in
    international business development or sales
    for
    IT services, SaaS, or consulting firms
    .
  • Proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales quotas.
  • Strong knowledge of
    enterprise IT services
    (Cloud, AI/ML, Data, Product Engineering, Digital Transformation).
  • Exceptional leadership skills with prior experience managing a sales team.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
  • Experience with CRM tools (HubSpot, Salesforce, or similar).
  • Willingness to travel internationally when required.

Preferred Skills

  • Exposure to North America, Europe,Australia,Canada and Middle East markets.
  • Existing network of decision-makers in enterprise IT/technology domains.
  • Familiarity with consultative and solution-based selling approaches.
  • Knowledge of global technology trends and emerging digital transformation practices.
