About the Role

The Assistant Manager - Sales CLS at Jaquar will play a crucial role in driving sales growth and managing relationships with key accounts in the consumer lighting segment. This role focuses on delivering tailored lighting solutions, building strong client relationships, and achieving revenue targets while representing Jaquar Group's commitment to innovation and quality in the lighting industry. The incumbent is responsible for establishing and nurturing relationships with key decision-makers in all type of potential customers & decision makers in both private & government sector. This role entails understanding market trends, consumer needs and competitive dynamics. This role involves educating these stakeholders about Jaquar's comprehensive product offerings from lighting basket. 

This role requires strong technical knowledge, product management skills, and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver comprehensive lighting strategies that meet client requirements and exceed industry standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing key accounts, including retailers, distributors, and large-scale customers in the consumer lighting domain
  • Identify opportunities to enhance client satisfaction and maximize account potential
  • Act as the primary point of contact for key clients, addressing queries, resolving issues, and ensuring seamless communication
  • Monitoring Modern Key accounts purchase orders, and back orders, samples and payment status of new and previous accounts, order dispatch and delivery status, tender evaluation, stock & forecasting solutions
  • Assisting the installation teams and service related issues
  • Managing the modern key accounts sales reports
  • Performing pre dispatch inspections at suppliers end to ensure quality of the outgoing materials and analysing the product failures for improvements
  • Perform supplier follow-up and do timely visits to tract and review project progress
  • Maintain the repository for all technical documents related to products
  • Act as a primary point of contact for internal as well as external stakeholders
  • Demonstrate clear technical understanding and skills of all technical requirements as per the need of the organization and customers
  • Monitor and report employee wise performance and productivity analysis
  • Support and guide the product /tool design team for a faster development of products
  • Monitor and report dealer sales LY v/s CY growth customer segment wise, Division wise, sales analysis
  • Provide continuous guidance support to R&D team for development of new products in line with market trends and business strategies
  • Collect data/inputs and submit reports post analysis to concerned stakeholders
  • Impart Jaquar product trainings to concerned stake holders

Qualifications and Experience

  • Education: Graduate in any field; Master's degree or additional relevant certification are a plus
  • Experience: 6-7 years of experience in key accounts management or business development, with prior experience in consumer lighting segment is mandatory
