About the Role

We are looking for a proactive and technically skilled Desktop Administrator to provide on-site and remote support for users within a fast-paced IT and telecom environment. The role involves maintaining hardware, software, and networking systems to ensure smooth and uninterrupted operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Respond promptly to client support requests and diagnose the nature of technical issues.
  • Provide on-site or remote troubleshooting for hardware, software, and connectivity problems.
  • Install, configure, and maintain desktops, laptops, peripherals, and operating systems.
  • Perform software upgrades and patches as required.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve network connectivity, call center applications, and VoIP-related issues.
  • Address agent login problems, call drops, and latency issues.
  • Resolve headset and microphone issues for end users.
  • Advise users on appropriate hardware or software upgrades.
  • Provide basic user training on computer operations and IT tools.
  • Maintain documentation of incidents, resolutions, and system configurations.

Requirements

  • Bachelors degree or diploma in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • 1 - 3 years of experience in desktop support or IT administration.
  • Hands-on experience in troubleshooting Windows OS, MS Office, network connectivity, and hardware components.
  • Experience supporting call center or telecom applications preferred.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize, and remain calm under pressure.
  • Customer-focused with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

Preferred Skills

  • Familiarity with Active Directory, remote desktop tools, and ticketing systems.
  • Basic understanding of LAN/WAN and VoIP setups.
  • Certifications such as CompTIA A+, MCSA, or CCNA will be an advantage.
