About the Role

We are seeking a detail-oriented and outcome-driven Business Analyst (BA) to support the development and enhancement of our Customer Mobile App a key digital channel for our health insurance customers. As a Business Analyst, you will be the bridge between the business, technology, and user experience teams. Your role will involve understanding user needs, translating them into clear requirements, and ensuring seamless delivery of features that enhance customer satisfaction and business value.

  1. Key Responsibilities

  2. Requirement Gathering & Analysis

  3. Collaborate with Product Managers, stakeholders, and end-users to elicit and document business needs.

  4. Conduct workshops, interviews, and research to understand user journeys, pain points, and improvement opportunities.

  5. Documentation & User Stories

  6. Write clear and concise business requirements, functional specifications, and user stories.

  7. Maintain a well-prioritized product backlog with acceptance criteria that are testable and traceable.

  8. Agile Delivery Support

  9. Work closely with cross-functional Agile teams (Design, Engineering, QA) to ensure correct interpretation of requirements.

  10. Participate in Agile ceremonies sprint planning, daily stand-ups, retrospectives, and demos.

  11. Process Mapping & Gap Analysis

  12. Map current and future state processes using tools like BPMN, flowcharts, or swimlanes.

  13. Perform impact analysis for change requests and identify integration points across systems.

  14. Data-Driven Insights

  15. Support product decisions through data gathering and analysis (user behavior, app analytics, transaction logs).

  16. Collaborate with analytics teams to track KPIs and usage metrics of mobile app features.

  17. Stakeholder Communication

  18. Act as a liaison between business teams (Claims, Policy, Customer Support, etc.) and tech teams.

  19. Present findings and documentation to both technical and non-technical audiences effectively.

  20. Must-Have Qualifications

  21. Bachelor's degree in Business, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

  22. 5–8 years of experience as a Business Analyst in digital product development, with strong exposure to mobile app projects.
  23. Strong understanding of Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban) and product lifecycle.
  24. Experience with BA tools like Jira, Confluence, Lucidchart, Visio, or similar.

  25. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and documentation skills.

  26. Preferred Skills & Attributes

  27. Experience in health insurance, healthcare, or financial services domain is a plus.

  28. Familiarity with APIs, system integration concepts, and mobile architecture.
  29. Exposure to mobile analytics tools such as Firebase, GA4, or Mixpanel.
  30. Proactive, collaborative, and customer-focused mindset.
  31. Strong verbal and written communication skills with a knack for simplifying complexity.
