Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for an Assistant at the Debt Recovery Tribunal (DRT) and district courts chandigarh, located in Chandigarh. The Assistant will be responsible for a variety of administrative tasks including managing correspondence, scheduling meetings, maintaining records, drafting OA and assisting in the preparation of legal documents. The Assistant will also support office operations by handling inquiries, organizing files, and ensuring efficient communication within the office. Advocate must have certifcate of practice, advocate from nearby locations preffered.

Qualifications

  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Previous experience in an administrative or clerical role is beneficial
  • High attention to detail and accuracy
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
  • High school diploma or equivalent; additional qualifications in office administration are a plus
