Job Description Finance Manager

Location: Kirti nagar, New Delhi

Industry: Electrical Distribution (SME Sector)

Experience Required: Minimum 7+ years

Qualification: B.Com (minimum) / M.Com / MBA (Finance) / CA (preferred)

Key Responsibilities:

1. Financial Management & Accounting

Oversee day-to-day finance and accounts operations including bookkeeping, cash flow management, and reconciliation.

Prepare, analyze, and present monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.

Ensure timely vendor payments, receivable collections, and working capital management.2. Compliance & Government Norms

Ensure compliance with all statutory requirements under GST, TDS, Income Tax, PF, ESI, Professional Tax, Gratuity, Bonus, and Labour Welfare Fund (as applicable).

Maintain compliance with MSME-specific regulations, RBI guidelines, and Companies Act (if applicable).

Coordinate with auditors for statutory, internal, and tax audits.3. Taxation & Reporting

Ensure timely filing of GST returns, TDS returns, and Income Tax returns.

Handle tax assessments, scrutiny, and liaison with government authorities.

Develop strategies for tax efficiency while remaining compliant with Indian tax laws.4. Budgeting & Forecasting

Prepare annual budgets and financial forecasts aligned with business goals allocating under respective heads in discussion with management. 

Monitor budget variances and recommend corrective measures.

Provide MIS reports and financial insights for management decision-making.5. Team Leadership & Coordination

Lead and mentor the accounts and finance team.

Ensure accurate and timely work delivery by the team.

Collaborate with operations, sales, and procurement teams or any other external stakeholder as necessary for financial clarity and control.6. Other Managerial Duties

Manage relationships with banks, NBFCs, and financial institutions for working capital and loans.

Implement internal financial controls and risk management practices.

Drive process improvements to strengthen financial discipline across the organization.Requirements:

Education: B.Com (minimum), with M.Com / MBA (Finance) / CA / CMA preferred.

Experience: At least 7+ years of proven experience in finance & accounts, preferably in an MSME or distribution/trading sector.

Strong knowledge of Indian accounting standards, GST, TDS, Income Tax, PF/ESI, and other statutory compliances.

Proficiency in Tally ERP / SAP / accounting software.

Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and leadership skills.

Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities.What We Offer:
