ROLE SUMMARY

The Director - Sales & Marketing – will be responsible for leading and developing the Brickwork Group Companies' sales and marketing strategies to drive revenue, increase market share, and ensure brand enhancement.

Key responsibilities include conducting market analysis, building relationships with key clients and partners, developing and implementing strategic marketing plans to achieve the sales targets, developing new markets and implementing a strong digital media presence and branding; driving the PR initiatives of the group companies. The role involves close coordination and collaboration with business development teams, the leadership, and other stakeholders. The ideal candidate is a strategic, analytical, and results-driven leader with strong executive communication, negotiation, and customer engagement skills. Candidate should be willing to travel Pan India to develop strategic partners and prospects.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Sales Growth, Client Engagement & Cross-functional Collaboration

Developing and implementing strategic marketing plans to help achieve the sales targets and develop new markets for the Group companies.

Business Leaders' Meetings: Conduct meetings regularly with business leaders to review the business pipeline, resolve challenges, and brainstorm possible solutions to ensure that the team is consistently performing above standards.

Client & Partner Relations:

  • Build and nurture strong, long-term relationships with key clients/business prospects, distributors, and channel partners with a focus on driving growth and expanding market reach.
  • Create consistent and transparent lines of communication for client engagement.

Client Queries / Concerns / Feedback

  • Fully understand client queries and concerns by listening carefully and asking the right questions. Coordinate with internal stakeholders and ensure that these are addressed promptly.
  • Regularly gather client feedback through surveys and reviews, and visibly implement their suggestions to show that their input is valued.

Cross-functional Collaboration:

  • Work closely, in collaboration with business development teams, leadership, and other stakeholders, to ensure that the teams' efforts are aligned with the company's overall objectives.
  • Create a cross-functional collaboration framework by establishing clear goals, defining roles, and setting up communication channels for teams from different departments to work together towards the common business objectives

Market Analysis, Strategic Planning, and Brand Enhancement:

Conduct in-depth market research, identify emerging trends, and analyze the competitive landscape to capitalize on new business opportunities.

Develop and evaluate advertising and promotional campaigns, webinars, and thought leadership events/conclaves to enhance brand value and market penetration.

Leverage data-driven insights to refine marketing efforts and drive sales growth.

Brand Enhancement:

  • Conceptualize brand refresh and promote brand visibility by proactively redesigning collaterals/websites and SEO optimization as necessary.
  • Ensure Digital Media Presence - Manage all social media accounts (LinkedIn, YouTube, Twitter, Facebook, etc.) with regular content creation and engagement
  • Driving PR Initiatives - Work with PR agencies to generate article publication, speaking, and sound-byte opportunities for leadership across the Group companies.
  • Attend conferences, trade shows, showcasing Brickwork Group Companies' products/services through presentations and collaterals. Work on post-event reports and analysis to improve market presence and visibility.

EDUCATION:

Bachelor's degree in marketing/business administration/communications, or a related field (mandatory).

A master's degree in Sales, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred.

WORK EXPERIENCE:

15+ years in sales and marketing management,

Proven experience of 5+ years in a senior sales and marketing leadership role, with a strong track record of success in increasing market share and visibility of businesses.
