
General Manager- Sales Medical Devices

We are seeking an experienced General Manager to lead our Medical Device Sales team in Bangalore. The successful candidate will have a strong track record of sales leadership, business development, and team management in the medical device industry. This role requires a strategic thinker who can drive sales growth, build strong relationships with customers, and lead a high-performing team.
Key Responsibilities:
Sales Leadership:
Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve business objectives.
Lead and manage a team of sales professionals to meet sales targets.
Foster a culture of excellence, innovation, and customer-centricity.
Business Development:
Identify and pursue new business opportunities in the medical device industry.
Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers, including hospitals, clinics, and medical professionals.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive business growth.
Team Management:
Recruit, train, and develop a high-performing sales team.
Coach and mentor team members to improve sales performance and achieve business objectives.
Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide feedback.
Market Analysis:
Stay up-to-date with market trends, competitor activity, and regulatory changes.
Analyze market data to inform sales strategies and business decisions.
Requirements:
Experience: 15-25 years of experience in medical device sales, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
Education: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Life Sciences, or a related field. MBA or other advanced degrees preferred.
Skills:
Strong sales leadership and business development skills.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
Ability to analyze market data and make informed business decisions.
Strong team management and coaching skills.
Experience with medical device sales, including knowledge of medical terminology and regulatory requirements.
