Roles and Responsibilities

  • Provide Level 2 (L2) production support for Java-based applications deployed on Linux/Unix platforms.
  • Perform root cause analysis of incidents and implement fixes to prevent recurrence.
  • Escalate critical issues to senior engineers or other teams as needed.

Desired Candidate Profile

  • 4-9 years of experience in Production Support role with expertise in Java programming language.
  • Strong understanding of Linux/Unix operating systems and ability to work comfortably at command line level.
  • Experience with database management systems such as SQL; knowledge of stored procedures, views, functions etc.
  • Level L2 Support preferably in 4-10 years range; Good knowledge in Software Engineering and concepts, SDLC and ITSM processes knoedge, Hands-on coding, debugging skills and good communication Skills.

    Tech Skills
  • Any object oriented programming experience (Java or C++ or Python, etc)
  • Unix/ Linux commands and scripting experience
  • SQL QUERYING. Stored procedures coding & debugging experience, Erase/Cursors
  • Database experience
